Video Installation, Melissa Shiff

In the summer of 2006 I assisted artist Melissa Shiff with the animation for her video installation piece entitled ARK. ARK was commissioned for the Jewish History Museum in Prague in Commemoration of their centennial anniversary. ARK is a 12 by 15 foot prow of a boat built from sandblasted plexi-glass creating a screening space for the video that cross-projects onto the hulls from within the boat. The video chronicles the history of the museum over its 100 years of dramatic existence. The video that runs inside the ARK was composed primarily in After Effects and edited in Final Cut Pro.
